Accommodation Australia (NSW) is the industry’s premier accommodation association in NSW. We represent the interests of Accommodation providers throughout regional and metropolitan NSW.
Legal and IR Services
Members enjoy access to dedicated hospitality IR professionals who provide advice and interpretation on award conditions, Fair Work Act compliance, minimum wages and other workplace regulations. AA's IR team also undertakes industry research to prepare submissions to the State and Federal Governments on matters such as the Minimum Wage Review, the Review of the Fair Work Act, the Hospitality Industry General Award and the national harmonisation of workplace safety laws.
Research and Reports
Additionally, AA NSW provides free access to monthly research reports which cover the demand and supply picture in Sydney, Greater Sydney and Regional NSW. As a member you gain access to Quarterly reports which provide a summary of key NSW accommodation data from the ABS, National and International Visitor Survey data, to assist in your planning.
Education
We help your business comply with legislation and provide your staff with the skills they need to help you succeed. We run a series of educational seminars throughout the year on topical issues, often in partnership with recognised providers. These include Enhanced Leadership Program, Social Media, Economic and Market Update, Legal and Industrial Relations Updates and a range of briefings on topical issues.

Members are kept informed of industry issues, information and trends via our weekly AA NSW e-newsletter, Member Update, our quarterly AA NSW & AHA NSW Partner eDMs, Supplier inform and monthly member magazine, Hotel News.
Networking Opportunities
Members are invited to regular Boardroom and Corporate events with key leaders of the tourism industry in NSW, such as the Minister for Tourism, the CEO City of Sydney and CEO Destination NSW.

AA NSW conducts an annual Hotel Salary Survey which has over 18 years of historical data and is a valuable tool for benchmarking your wages with the industry.
