Scott Boyes

CEO, Trilogy Hotels


For almost 30 years, Scott Boyes has risen through the ranks with Accor from his first role as a graduate working overnights as a porter to become its Senior Vice President of Operations, Pacific North. Before leaving to found Trilogy Hotels, he was responsible for 85 Accor hotels throughout NSW, ACT, QLD and NT. 

Rather than stay a few extra months to reach a new milestone, he saw an immediate opportunity for Trilogy that just couldn’t wait. He founded the business together with Tony Ryan and Grant Alchin, who each share his passion for the industry and vision for the future.

 

Shaun O'Bryan

Regional General Manager at Salter Brothers Hospitality


With over 25 years of extensive international and domestic experience in the tourism and hospitality industries, Shaun O’Bryan is the Regional General Manager for Salter Brothers Hospitality, based in the Hunter Valley.

Previously with Minor Hotels in 2019, O’Bryan successfully managed the 360 acres of Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort including the onsite restaurants and 18-hole championship golf course, and the 32 acres of Elysia Wellness Retreat, heading up a team of 150 people across both properties.

He is an expert in managing overall business operations including customer experience, employee engagement, food & beverage financial performance administration, room operations, onsite reservations and revenue management, engineering and capital improvements, and spa, golf & recreational activities according to company policies and standards. He has a driving passion to deliver service that goes beyond organisation expectations, so that guests receive a first-class experience.

Shaun previously held multiple leadership positions within many Forbes 5 Star and AAA 5 Diamond rated international luxury hotel and resort frontrunners including The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and the Ojai Valley Inn and Belmond El Encanto in California.

Tish Nyar

Senior Director Of Operations ANZ, TFE Hotels


An industry all-rounder, Tish Nyar brings strong operational and strategic experience to his role as Director of Operations for Australia and New Zealand.

With TFE Hotels currently in the midst of a significant transition with a number of hotels in the development pipeline in Australia and New Zealand, Tish’s role has been to align the operations team and lay foundations for the growth ahead across six brands including TFE Hotels Collection and A by Adina properties.

His wide range of expertise has been gained over 30 years in the hotel industry and has a proven track record in revenue management. His overall industry experience can also be seen in his work with the NSW AAOA team & past involvement with on the Board Accommodation Australia Board, TAA – AHA National and NSW and National Accommodation Division Board, his Strategic Management Certification from Macquarie University Graduate School of Management, Advanced diploma of Hotel Manager form the Blue Mountains International Hotel School. Tish currently manages a team of three Area General Managers and 50 hotel managers across TFE Hotels’ Australia and New Zealand network.
